What To Expect

I am really happy to recommend this classic Hydra cottage-style house. As you approach from the top road, you can't help but smile at it's snug square shape, white-washed walls, pretty garden and over the small olive grove, that stunning view! Walking in from the vine covered entrance terrace is equally pleasurable. The lofty rafters, wooden floors, simple yet sophisticated interior design has an immediate relaxing effect. The owners are very creative, one a musician, the other a designer and artist. So couples who want to stay in a place that's already geared up for creative contemplation will adore this house to rent in one of the most tranquil places on Hydra.

    Prices are per night for the entire house on a private self-catering basis: 


    March - June: €220 per night

    July - August: €280 per night

    September - December €220


    Minimum 7 nights, Maximum 2 guests

    Only Saturday to Saturday bookings or multiples of weeks.


    Available from January to December


    Sorry, no children or pets - because the west side of the garden is open to a deep gully, the house is not suitable.


    Check-out by 10:30 – check-in after 16:00.


    20% deposit is required to secure booking with 80% balance of payment due no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival.

  • Neighbourhood

    The area is called Analipsi and is above Kamini Harbour.


    The location is less cramped than Hydra town and the atmosphere of the neighborhood is laid back and slower-paced.


    It's quiet and peaceful here with lots to look at in every direction.


    The church behind is only used one day a year. 


    The closest beach is at Castello. The Pirofani Restaurant is a three-minute walk down the hill.

    The main inland road from upper Kamini to Vlychos is just behind the house so it's an ideal property for those who like to walk in Hydra's countryside. Walking up from Hydra Town takes an average fit person 15 minutes whether you walk the coast road and come up from Kamini Harbour or you opt for the land route via Four Corners.
